For the past 15 years, The Conservation Fund’s Resourceful Communities Program has worked in low-wealth communities throughout North Carolina.  Starting with a strengths-based approach, Resourceful Communities helps partners implement the “triple bottom line” by building capacity and a statewide movement that advocates for sustainable economic development, social justice, and environmental stewardship.  We help partners access resources and learn techniques to advance non-traditional, asset-based approaches to age-old problems such as poverty, racism and resource loss.
