The Initiative offers technical assistance to help North Carolina’s community economic development sector pursue innovative, high-impact projects and initiatives that create economic growth and prosperity.

Many of these projects are complex and require in-depth knowledge or special expertise in finance, administration, project management, organizational development or community engagement.

The Initiative works with organizations and their staff to understand their unique needs and develop programs tailored to meet them.
