CDBG Training Webcasts
HUD and the Office of Block Grant Assistance are pleased to present video training modules on eight components of the Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) program. Each video is approximately one hour in length and can be viewed individually from the others. Inclusionary Zoning
Inclusionary Zoning (IZ) is a planning tool used by municipalities and states around the country to promote the construction of new affordable housing units. The Initiative has compiled a list of resources designed to help you learn more about creating and implementing an IZ program in your area.
NC HealthyBuilt Homes Program – promotes responsible “green” building across the state. Please contact Initiative grantee Mountain Housing with questions (MHO’s Prospect Terrace was the first certified housing development under the HealthyBuilt Homes Program).
Land for Tomorrow– is a statewide partnership of conservationists, farmers, business leaders, local governments, health professionals, and community groups urging the General Assembly to provide $1 billion over five years to protect the state's land, water, and special places before they are irreversibly lost.
