NOV. 1, 2010 - On November 18 and 19, the Initiative will co-sponsor a conference on green technology, organized by the Center for Energy Research and Technology at NC A&T University in Greensboro. The First International Conference on Green and Sustainable Technology: Research and Workforce Development will focus on green buildings, green energy, green manufacturing and workforce development. Invited speakers include EPA Administrator Lisa Jackson, Sen. Kay Hagan, U.S. Rep. James Clyburn, Gov. Beverly Perdue, and Dr. Dan Arvizu, Director of the National Renewable Energy Lab.
